It Was Perfect or So It Seemed Our Friendship Strengthened and Still Remained Weak I Found Myself With You Not Pretending To Be I Was Real Inside And Out It Was Wonderful and I Wanted More But You Kept Pulling Away I Had No Idea What Was In Store You Kept Your Secret and Held It Dear Pushed Everything and Everyone Aside Including Me You Shut Me Out But I Broke Through I Wanted To Know Everything I Wanted You It Was Give and Take You Gave Me Your Secret and Took Yourself Away Yet I'm Still Here With Arms Wide Open My Heart Bleeding Our Worlds Apart Doesn't Have To Be I Still Care About You, Sweetie Even If You Have HIV I Thought of You Today, |

"You Gave Me Your Secret and Took Yourself Away..." great line. And the ending was a surprise. I liked that your poem wasnt all sunshine and stars, but dealt with something real... (although I AM sunshine and stars) |
