when our bottle stops spinning

what are the chances i could be winning

         the new beginning

that i have to admit had my patience thinning

at wondering whether or not you'd be grinning

if we sat down for lunch

       following the hunch

that even though our past flew way out of control

a brunch at Shoney's could give you a view of my soul

              you missed
