to talk to her for an hour

must mean he has the power

to caress her soul the right way

i've worried so many nights away

wondering if it's alright to play Spades

             for her heart

especially while we're apart

what if like Moses he has magic special enough to part

              her Red Sea?

why couldn't it be me

destined to walk by her side with glee

             conversating?
