darkness encases me and my fears take possession of my soul i search but cant escape from their grasp they smother me squeeze the breath from my chest my eyes close and i surrender but her hand touches mine she reaches into the darkness and her fingers clasp me and pulls me into the light my lungs fill my heart starts and she rescues me her love breathes life into me jon 2006 |

welcome to PiP, if I haven't said that on another thread already (i'm so scatterbrained) .. ****************** and she rescues me her love breathes life into me ****************** I adore these lines, I feel them. I have a "he" like this ... if he would just smarten up enough to realize it ~*Sheli*~ By words the mind is winged |

A wonderful message in this posting as all it takes is the hand of one person to eliminate a huge barrier of fear for a fellow human being. Welcome to Passions by the way, hope you enjoy your stay. gif by Twist |

I know the feeling of suffocation...it's overwhelming. I could sense that when I read your poem. Well written. ~* I write the waves of my emotions, with my pen as my ship and my heart as my compass *~ |
