5455 Daze to Endure 05 June 2006 Each morning, a world of thought to open letters of alphabet in view Everyone another, over night in birth this separation in kindness, time does own Of love, happiness, or matters to transpire secret moments, sacred to some An empire arisen, yesterday still for some yet where was love, that door to knock Truthfulness, entity, reality, blind eyes as ice, no feeling to flesh touch Did she know, words can feel a spirit, upon lines, scars battled Another day captured, pulse beating eternal splendour, truth unphased This voltage of electricity, unplugged nature skies of blue, all a daze to endure “O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever.” 1 Chronicles 16: 34 KJV © 2006 Christopher W Herbert (a New Zealand Poet) a poet who cares |
