Loose ends he caresses between his fingers Reflective eyes his prism smile Hand turning to test the forehead Withtaking beads from her brow. He is always there Absorbing The heat, the pain Whispering Whispering gently Whispering her name. |

I so love this, and it could be a father's hands, a husband's, or God's for those that believe. Thank you, this is well shown and I enjoyed reading. |

makes me want to have a fever just to feel such a hand caress, taking the heat away so tenderly |

Magnus, Mystique? Hm... I like that. I wondered if it would be after I entitled it as I did. I had a difficult time choosing a title. For me, that is the hardest part about writing! Thanks for dropping by. misce passing shadows, Glad you enjoyed it. It is great to see you posting again. Soon I'll have a little more time on my hands, I'm hoping, so I can reply to others. Thanks for taking the time to read... misce iliana, It's good to be able to write of such. Glad you enjoyed. misce Ella Blue, How perceptive of you. I hadn't thought of all the possibilities. Thanks for sharing your insight. misce |

The Lady, If there is a comforting feeling to this poem, I accredit it those in our lives who have had that special touch. Unconditional love. Glad you liked it. misce Goodknight, You are the kindest! Thanks, Paul. misce Midnitesun, I don't have a fever this time, but I don't want to wish broken bones, gall bladder attacks, or broken heart upon you! I am thankful for such people who stick by us in times of, well, whatever. Just thought I'd write just a little of it; it seems I write it better than show it... Thanks for reading my thoughts. I really appreciate your thoughtfulness. misce |

And it is possible, just possible...to be touched in such a way. When she is, when he is...or when theydo....it is a blessing. To know you're loved, even through the long years when life has decreed you will be apart for a while....yes, a blessing. ~~(¸¸¸¸ºº> ~~(¸¸¸¸ºº> ~~(¸¸ ¸¸ºº> ~~~(¸¸ER¸¸ºº> |

Ratleader, You understand exactly; picked up on the title I guess, or maybe you just know me too well... We can never appreciate one too much, can we? Thanks for your reflective response, Ed. And it is possible, just possible...to be touched in such a way. When she is, when he is...or when theydo....it is a blessing. To know you're loved, even through the long years when life has decreed you will be apart for a while....yes, a blessing. |

Earth Angel, A very nice thing to say! Real is the only thing I know; I'd sure like to tap into some imagination sometimes. Do you have a recipe I can borrow? It is so good to hear from you. I hope you and mending well... hugs, misce Vandana, and it is good to be read; thank you so much for taking the time to read and comment! Again, thanks~ misce suthern, Thank goodness to see your name again. Admittedly, I haven't been on the internet as much as I used to be, but when I am, I always look for your poetry, regardless of whether I am able to post against it. I miss ya, Southern lady! misce |

Steven, Thank you. It is nice to be able to write of something like this. So often I am taken by the wind and write of challenges, rather than appreciation! Thought it might be nice to turn it around; Glad you like it. miscellanea |
