1 Toddler insigNificant To the counter size Opened door, climbed the shelves Unafraid she was of height; Cookie jar at finger site. What so happened through the years When height was gained past counter size and Woman became a force? A key in imagination, a benchmark in the books? Manipulated and placed in a fishbowl for others to take a look. She had been the prize, the bluest ribbon at the fair Until reception turned expression, How dare she dare she dare? How little of her did they seem to care. Cycles seem to have no end Useful, leary, why again? Daring, daring, dare again? Fishbowl feeling, where again? Spin in water, splash again? A toddler now on shelves again. Mama, “Where’s the cookie jar?” Whoops! A spill again, Spin 2 A Wash and Rinse Spin Spin Spin Away the Fear With T-shirts, towels, and underwear View the cycle of the see With strength and vision, Fishy swim to sea. |

Glad you liked them, Will. Thank you. I noticed your catchy name earlier, and have been wanting to read some of your work. Am burning the midnite oil now so I'll try to read one of your threads when I'm fresher. miscellanea |

martyjo, You are too kind. I feel remiss in not posting at others' posts right now. Soo so busy here and continual changes! I can hardly remember my name! Anyway, thank you for visiting! Hope to see you soon! myscelania |

So much lying just beyond the inner horizon of this piece....I will leave it there of course, and only say I understand, and that I love the way you express it. ~~(¸¸¸¸ºº> ~~(¸¸¸¸ºº> ~~(¸¸ ¸¸ºº> ~~~(¸¸ER¸¸ºº> |

Cycles seem to have no end Useful, leary, why again? Daring, daring, dare again? No matter how modern our world becomes, some things carry on, generation to generation. *S* Excellent write! |

“Spin Spin Spin Away the Fear With T-shirts, towels, and underwear View the cycle of the see With strength and vision, Fishy swim to sea.” I don’t feel a nursery rhyme here Miscellanea. I feel something serious and thought provoking. Wonderfully done. |

...and so the spin cycle begins again. (sigh) Though I was saddened by the thought of one being put on a kind of display and their gift of expression being stymied, I loved the imagery here of the toddler climbing on the shelf to get a cookie from the cookie jar. Toddlers are so fearless and innocent. Smiles. Enjoyed reading. -Bob |
