some lessons voice the hard way strolling through the waves, sand, and sea and so, I’ve lived along a beckoning road quite absurd at times its strategy, its woes providing fat languages living after midnights reserving privileges at dawn like some permanent self-sufficiency always standing there by my side tapping my shoulder (while anxiously looking at it's watch) so little did I know little did I know, shhheeeshhhh small woman indeed... like an oxymoron I’ve killed so many hours working overtime at hobbies I’m now ashamed of… who was that person? where did I think I was going? what was I thinking? did I really smell those roses? I turned off complete photosensitivity in my not so nice walk up apartment.... friends imploring countenance wanting to do more in the wee wee hours of mornings premature I had to have it my way combing far & wide those empty shores never fully satisfied I’ve had some valuable garnets in my purse & pockets, never recognizing the good hallways from those pleading haunting ballads learning the hard way leaning voluntarily more important did I remember to listen and hear it when it came to call? life is a 3d garden composer myriad, owning strange world views led by traditional authors the mileage I’ve come to know synonymously by some oral torah that I didn't seam to know at all call it medical alignments if you will it must be said divine power is no secret divinity believes heavenly multiphase doesn’t sit upon it's knees but lives with hands in motion in phenomenons of prophecies in life it's every where becoming the mouthpiece left behind in resting concerts that live inside I hear so well the glances backwards with those reckless elevators playing piano did I remember to say thank you? fear trembles the practical forming roots from contempt with moderately plausible forms leading down paths of descent and nobody says a word nobody says a word it becomes acceptable, the between the lines of the world may I go back and say I'm so sorry I love you? I’ve seen a lot of life’s tongue-in-cheek noiseless long car rides live performances who said they were friends of mine and when the music moves me I swim the longest seas which threatens to drop me right off the edge of being cuz there ain’t nothin but nothin that merrits compromising the soul find out who that person is that keeps your body goin.. and when the music plays dance off the milage join they're hands in yours and dance, dance, dance, like you’ve never danced before get jiggy with experience the losses are short term workin that ol stair master screams pain is something earned... shades of light & darkness never talk about the other they play a game of chess with the other... I’ll admit, the possibilities are endless and now when I walk along the beach gazing at the horizon I know somehow, I’ll always be a part of it.... and you... cha cha cha talk about k ching, huh? oh the power of love [This message has been edited by LeeJ (06-01-2006 12:42 PM).] |

Lee~ I'm enjoying the entire ink-pour, but this caught my fancy early on ... 'I’ve lived along a beckoning road' ... sort of an inspire of a thought I feel 'beckoning' to me~ With your permission, I 'might' take a trip along it, what say ? *Huglets* ~*Marge*~ ~*The sound of a kiss is not as strong as that of a cannon, but it's echo endures much longer*~ |

Hello LeeJ- This is my first comment posted, and I'm grinning from ear to ear. Your song, albeit a poetic song is a palm-skin-production, to steal a phrase from the trip-hop movement. What can I say, but wehey! At first, I was dubious, are you aware that you're addresing a road? Of course you are! Am I aware of all the word-play within this piece? Erm...of course not! All I know is you use that cool trick of 'going back to the question/going back to the source', there's a term (please enlighten me, or I'll have to look up my critical terms book again) and it really works to keep the reader on course. It's quite a long piece. My trick for my own minisucle attention span is to construct something like this spoken-word rap as prose. even as it's a poem, I think it would work in 3,4,or even 5 paragraphs, to condense it onto the page. The rhythm could hold it, as it's strong, and quite fly! I dunno what to quote as my favourite part...it's all rushing. Thanks for the read. Onelove |

"it must be said divine power is no secret divinity believes heavenly multiphase doesn’t sit upon it's knees" Just one of many of my favorites. Cha cha cha -- I loved that! ...jo |
