5191 Choice of Life 17 March 2006 So clearly in my dreams was the world of love An amour to prosper but would it ever touch of this heart empty to pain A body tender to misgiving not to stand - but wither Was life about death a lonely existence to wake Sleep - this realism of escape curled up in a ball of fetus born Neither an embryo nor child such birth abortive to mankind Free to live - Pro life over choice God made - God take - God forsake So clearly a vision to move who said life was kind to proclaim Pro-choice is a common self-description used by people who believe that women have the legal right to have an abortion, or that women have the right to make decisions concerning their bodies. The opposing term being pro-life. Opponents of the pro-choice view sometimes refer to people who are pro-choice with what can be considered pejorative terms such as “anti-life” or “pro-abortion”. A statement far from the truth, as being an incorrect interpretation, as to many of those who understand pro-choice (freedom of choice and the right for woman to make a decision they may not want to make or intend or hope to make). © 2006 Christopher W Herbert (a New Zealand Poet) a poet who cares |
