YOU bathed and millions of unseen lifeforms were destroyed. Some may be suffering. Where is the mourning? How was YOU affected? YOU walked across a field, crushing lives seen and unseen beneath the fall of each foot. Where is the gasp? How was YOU affected? YOU worked cutting down trees. Bringing death to them. Clearing and pushing back the earth. Wiping out innumerable lives. No gasp No mourning Unaffected Houses were built "others" moved in. Forms that YOU can identify with. For it is the form in which the YOU identifies himself. The earth shakes or winds blow or waters rise... or... whatever... And that which sees itself as seperate and "important" sees "tragedy". Now, there is mourning. But only the ego suffers. Because that which IS and is ALL is unaffected. There is no suffering. And it is within that which IS that the "you" exist. The future that "you" hope for... is a dream. The past that "you" cling to... is the recollection of a dream, that creates a historical identity that seems seperate from all else that IS. This concept of "separateness" is what causes "suffering". But, what has ever been... seperate? The "you" that sees itself as being seperate from all else that IS... sees "others" as being seperate from itself. Without the "you" there can be no "other-than-you". Beyond the false "you" that mind clings to... There is only that which I S and you are that. Oneness No "other" You cannot attain this Oneness with A L L . It I S With or without "you" Get over yourself. |
