Being Baffled By Their Silence

Looks like I have been fooled
Whilst missing someone
There was no warning sign
This could happen to anyone

I knew him as this caring guy
He felt good to be around
The most baffling thing was
He did a complete turnaround

Just imagine how foolish I feel
Having cried tears in vain
Being baffled by their silence
Unanswered questions remain

Not knowing any reasons why
I had fallen upon deaf ears
Its been an emotional shock
Heartache is mixing with tears

I wondered if thoughts counted
Looks like I will never know
We need to talk they had said
Still that was many months ago
