Breathe! O give breath fatal wound, that weary be the passing go! That all sin dost none but fail, my kingdom falls but I do not care! What walls have kept my soul but thee! Thou art gone! Gone like the rest! O how I pity thee, And my honourable heart is but a stone In a jar of many other stones Going unnoticed to the weakened eyes, Dost kill to be but a dream away! Oh what death! Hast cast the heavens-- Fleeting like the dew forever downwards Be it thy memory soaked in tears, As if I now old did not cry when I was young In hell I forever stray looking for ghosts-- What ghosts shall I find but a mirror of mine. O forgive me! Hear not the anger in my words I tremble in the lonesome void-- wilting away beneath the dwelling place contains (O emotional feelings) O wound be healed! Dearest! Wilt thy kiss be a cure? What holds the night in the sky? Shall the morning ever come? As I myself hath slain thee-- And never removed thine body from mind the blood stained upon my soul! What heart shall never live? What ache shall never know? Romance is a passing joy-- lovers come and go, and I shall never see the light been darkness all I’ve known. |
