               What Else Can I Do?


               The sadest face I've never seen
               haunts me now as if she had been
               standing beside me all these years
               close enough that we shared our fears.

               And though it's clear I'm far too late
               I will not stamp a seal to fate.
               I'll take what's happened tragically
               and transform it here, magically.


                   ~she is so very far away~
