A river of emotions slowly travels in my soul Tender flows implying an unanimated mind, Yet it seems something that now looks whole Reveals a lost heart uncaring of a lovely find. Shadows swim around these blackened waters Spreading within each flap a poisonous demise, A tranquil passing caressing the broken shatters Of a lonely heart deprived of its emotional cries. A damned fountain lies in the center of my body Pouring countless tears of suffering never heard, Slowly drowning fragile hopes and dreams in me An empty vessel forgotten by our own Shepherd. Cursed emotions overflow borders established As bursts of emptiness swallow my inner child, Devouring by its rising what love accomplished With hurled words forever locked and compiled. Passing time hidden beneath darkened waters Calmly stealing the remaining ray of light in me, Closing eyes reveal writtings of ending chapters Of a book condemned to this emptiness-eternity. |
