love to music has been much compared,
and us - but the instruments.
if I a bow, and you a violin
- why need the instruments exchange?

though familiar we may be,
'tis the song that pleasure brings

and the notes we choose
are infinite

Although I don't generally like inversion, I do like the feel of this one, and I especially like the last two lines.
