Before life I was not and had not been I knew no love or lust I saw no rage or distrust I heard no falsities or truths I thought not of life or death I learned no fears or arrogance I observed no thoughts or silence I felt no sadness or joy I had had no punishment or reward I touched neither nothing nor something I was not dead or alive I feared not the end or my beginning So with this my pre-life was not, but free From such prisons of this world Life the tense so lived to show That not being is the freedom So welcome all who’s borne with bonded arms And with such freedom gone one soon returns to freedom Death with the end of life’s strand Cuts off the ties that do bind us with distraction For true consciousness is in the unconsciousness So with such ends we are returned again To having had no being And so with this taste of bitter life one sees That he who knows the taste of sour things Too knows not tasting's sweeter I am the two-toed wanderer |

Matt, Never, never stop writing. Never stop seeing the world as you see it. Never stop taking the time to comment upon it. Never stop feeling, for the world will be a lesser place without your light to illuminate it. |
