A Leg up if you Please I would a leg up if you please The spring is gone from out my knees I hear you calling me to come But my feet won’t move, they are numb My mind keeps pushing me to go To stand and move and join the flow To meet the sun that’s lit my way To walk the path another day But I am sad in disrepair I’ve lost the go and living dare My feeling are this job be done I’ll leave it for some other one This orange has been squeezed quite dry There’s only bone and skin that lie And that would stay and rest a bit Before the last of candles lit Just tired would the term I’d use Perhaps I need a shot of booze |

Seymour, I loved the imagery that you used here. I could see the transformation as I read. It's hard to believe that after so many years your words are still as alive as when I first started reading them. Thanks for an excellent choice of words. |

Gosh, I've been there, when it just doesn't seem worth the effort it takes. Time heals, time ages and time changes our thinking. Sure enjoyed this. Rae |

sy, And how about a boost? I'm feeling this one a tad too much of late. Love the humor and the style as always. Doc |

Just to let you know, Mr. Tabin, I read all of your stuff. I'm not one for simpering, so you'll not get many replies from me-what can I say, but 'wow'? You have a style that defies my expectations, and your subjects are timeless, yet so contemporary. Play Misty for me...yikes! Am I showing my age with that ref'? |

![]() You caught me by surprise. But if I may... the rest is well earned on so many fronts. Besides you're a keeper. ![]() If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, |

Seems you need some Geritol...I think they got the name from geriatric.. Meanwhile, until the drugstore opens again, a nice hot toddy should do nicely and perhaps a back rub or a hot tub dip? |
