5641 Dreams to Address 24 August 2006 Your words breathe on my heart they provide me with breath Every moment, every letter over and over as to life A soul, a kind smile this distant love brought close So why should destiny be selfish a poet and their dreams to address A voice whispering, breath to a heart every moment, one of forgiveness Another in giving back in kind to know of such thinking, one to another Some day maybe the shadow will rest as together in the eyes of God Under the moon, we both can see side by side, distance never apart “Thou hast given him his heart’s desire, and hast not withholden the request of his lips. Selah.” Psalms 21: 2 KJV © 2006 Christopher W Herbert (a New Zealand Poet) a poet who cares |
