right now i see you in my eyes the steel color of the glass of dreams shattered once scolded and beaten and torn it was you who stayed and stayed on. for with you life is greater then it has ever been at least now i have someone to look forward to spending the rest of my life with. Fool me once shame on you.....Fool me twice shame on me..... |

I love this! The way the lines are broken up is at first strange but, on a second read, really adds to the tone of the poem. "Nature has implanted in our minds an insatiable longing to seek the truth" - CJCL Convention Theme 2005 |
