The Garden

There is a garden in my mind
A place of pardon that I find
Where snow white doves can rest in place
Within the magic of its grace

A field where souls can come to rest
A field where mostly lovers nest
A place where rainbows start their climb
And arch their arch o’er sands of time

Where wind chimes play within the sky
And colored clouds float gently by
Where dew drops glisten in the light
And fireflies light up the night

Some people call it Shangri- la
It’s just beyond the mist not far
Just close your eyes and wish the thought
Forget the things that you were taught

This place of pardon you can find
Go see the garden of your mind

Most surreal and special is this wondrous place you have taken us through your poetic powers.

Sort of an inner Utopia....or perhaps a
place where Peter Pan resides...a tranquil
and peaceful spot, huh?

Joyce
Thank you for the read and reply.

Uriah
It takes a little doing to get visitation rights. LOL

Bob
My pleasure and thank you for the reply.

Barry,
Like I said to Uriah, it takes a little doing but it's worth the effort.
