his eyes part clouds,
hands breathe in, exhale arpeggios,
sing coral petals and rhythms
into spindrift echoes,
carve canyons,
tremble heaven in desert
throes, twine jagged stems
for James' rose...

Klassy,

This is GReat!  I can just hear the arpeggio's echoing from the mountains!  I love your writing!!! It's piped full of crisp imagery!

I can hear them, too, and I can picture him standing alone midst Mother Nature's fireworks in the desert.

You've painted a fine picture,
and one that I'm sure he'll be honored to have.

Well done!

Sunshine, I am pleased you liked this!  He did like it!

Bob, I had to think a while about the imagery. Storms are resounding, aren't they?  God Bless you, too!

Sy:  Short 'n sweet poem?  Thank you!  LOL

Magnus,  Thank you for the sweet praise.  It's been a long time since I've been able to get any semblance of poetry down.  I've James to thank for the inspiration.  I think his rose is celestial, so he did like this-- and left me blooming, too.
