The Part Of Linger When I awaken, To the shimmer of an unrelenting sky Expecting to be only one, and never more Listen for the impatient ruckus of beak and breast Smell the morning stirred in fresh clothes The fabric of daylight swishing far then near When I awaken, Changed of heart and mind, skin and soul Drumming with the inhale of night And the exhale of day Will my eyes be true to me, Guiding the longboat of my slumber to the shore? Smiling ankle deep to my step, As I raise the blinds of my sleeping mind Reaching up in striking realization That my only dream believed it belonged To touch the warm winds of your smile Shining there Copyright Kkh 8/18/06 |

so delicate, yet so beautiful and so very visual...I could almost feel the water lapping at my ankles... |

"That my only dream believed it belonged To touch the warm winds of your smile Shining there" This type of dreaming stays with the dreamer: Forever Lingering. Beautiful dream! JL Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: |
