I Would |

I would hold you that you might cry. I would whisper, that you might hear the still winds that lightly touch a face of beauty. I would give a king’s ransom that I might once know you to the deepest depth of your sea. I would stand at the water’s edge that I might feel the wave that once touched your feet. I would carry your burden that you might rest in peaceful slumber, letting dreams dance through your head....stirring the eyes, wrinkling a nose, widening a smile that entrances me. I would, all of this and more, for you are a star high above as the glow of our moon shines before us and friendships bond us together.... Always... |
