Vine Triumphant The lovely trumpet vine in bloom, So glorious from my living room, Covers the grey utility pole Giving that drab thing oomph and soul. Each day the petals multiply Slowing the traffic passing by. By: Joyce [This message has been edited by Sunshine (08-17-2006 07:30 AM).] |

Gorgeous. As is the vine itself, but what a pain it is. I'm getting ready to paint the outside of my house, and pulling that vine off and pulling it off and pulling it off and there's still more to pull. It gets right up into the roof. Sigh Nan (Pilgrim variety) |

Oh sorry about that. I had an evergreen clematis that tore off my gutter, so I pulled it out and have not planted any vines near my house since. This vine can do no damage to the pole it is on unless the utility people come along and object. joyce |

My own fault for letting it grow there. Nan (Pilgrim variety) |
