i’d like you to understand
what was understood by none
more than me and i only barley grasped
the tattered remnants of ideasthat frankly
confused myself and drifted off and occasionally
up into some sort ofcontinuous train of thought that
left little to behold and nothing for the memory
you see understanding can be difficult regardless of the topic
that is being batted around among the group
like mental catch phrases and hot potatoes understanding is
far more than that, understanding is misunderstood
but you knew that already

Understanding IS misunderstood. I loved the rhythms in this... I didn't quite see them until I read it aloud in my head... if that makes any sense. Anyway, good job.
