Signs of Maturity I was thinking the other night about signs of maturity. What if I were involved in a relationship, and she decided to leave me, believing what she was doing was right for her. And instead of feeling like she had offended me, and making myself a victim of rejection, and becoming hurt and angry, and making her a person in need of forgiveness, I simply decided not to hold her hostage to my emotions, instead applauding her decision to move on. Wouldn't that be easier than going through all of those emotions. I believe so. I think I'll try it. JamesLee 16 August 2006 |

Probably that would be the mature thing to do. I'm not ever going to grow up, so why should you? Nan (Pilgrim variety) |

Thank you seraphin, Joyce, Pilgrimage and SarBear for the nice responses... I believe that to accomplish those goals I would have to be more loving and caring and accepting and forgiving...these things I am working on...James |
