Lips once singed now strike a balance point, lift themselves from the abyss. Amity sits at Love’s window ~Anticipation~ of a lover’s kiss As the amplitude of heartbeats thunders past all confines, ribbed cages notwithstanding Sound the trumpets! Beat the drums! Seas shall part... Clouds shall burst... and arms once left empty shall fill themselves with tenderness and giving Rebirthing the living, lifting two souls from the abyss ~Anticipation~ of a lover’s kiss |

Oh my! Your poetry is certainly something certainly worth anticipating. "Nature has implanted in our minds an insatiable longing to seek the truth" - CJCL Convention Theme 2005 |

Lovely, Kacy! Perhaps anticipation of anything in life is the best part - keeps the heart alive - and then, of course, if we don't anticipate, we don't get! Helen |
