Drift

"If two can drift so far apart,
perhaps they were never so close together."

Feeling the pain within his heart.

How do two drift so far apart?

The time now come to say goodbye.

That day they talked,
that night one or two cried.

Perhaps if at least one of them put their oars in the water, they could row to the other and then they could once again row, row, row their boats together.

Aloha hello hugs,
Linda

You write with so much expression - it just reaches out and grabs at me.
