Have you ever gone to where you have never gone before Have you ever transcended past Past the unbreakable door Have you ever seen what your sub-conscious saw Have you allowed hatred Have you allowed it to thaw? Have you ever been To where you never been before Or have you ever seen What’s never been seen at all Have you ever watched the breaking of the dawn In the solitude of the morning as creation is getting born Have you ever felt those feelings Some where deep inside Some times they’re ecstatic Some times you want to hide Some times tear streaked face Some time’s joyous pride Some times you soar so high And other times you slide Have you ever been submerged into the stillness of your soul Have you ever ventured through the vaults of your mind Tell me did you leave there feeling whole Have you ever spoken to someone little words of gold Then you’ve gone and something Gone and something stole Have you ever found that you dig your own hole Yet by simple choice you can save your own soul Have you ever felt these feelings They are simple but they’re true These are our feelings And they are but a few Have you ever felt how truly meaningful you are Raising above the hurt removing all the scars So be thankful to G-D Thankful for whom you are So always have the feeling And know that you are a star |
