I remember the configuration
and complication
of your tattoos
even the ones
you didn't wear
other than mentally

and on the glass
of your expression
as you painted my words
with finger nail polish
making them pretty enough
to wear with nothing else on

your hair was still damp
from just dreaming
and the workout you had
running away from yourself
when you seared your lips
on the tip of temptation

just before the intromission

its nice to wear the memory mind...to realize, what was, and what now is....but sometimes, due to our own personalities, things were not always as they seemed...we can't always perceive what we don't know, as well as, we cannot give what we've never known...what I like best about your poem is how it's looking back smiling, whispering to yourself...look at how far we've come...and perhaps she, was one of those Kodack moments that helped change your life for the good?

Anyway, your always such a good read...first thing when the sun peeks over that horizon, smiling at us....
