I’ve been told to think on things and so I have intently
In my thinking I have found myself no less and no more
I, the non-divine and almost conscious being have discovered
We, the collective breathing walking beings are only
You, the seeing searching hoping wanderers for a soul
Us, the silent fools who are and are not but things
Yes I have found in my looking a thought most real
That I am not conscious in the human terms
We are not alive in the sense that we have naively created
I have found that humanity is but waking dreamers
And that the sounds and sights are nothing golden
Yes the universe is of a crystal beauty
But its is more so without my seeing to believe it
I am what I know I am, a husk of chemical reactions
Formed so wonderful in my human brain
Yet in this finding I have found a question for all
In the firing of a neuron and the physical mind
In the chemicals and proteins and atoms of dust
Is there something more, is there a person in the way we think
Am I the true sense of I or am I something less
Is the ghost in the shell apart of the shell?
I have not lived long enough to find a resolution
I am not smart enough to decide if in me is a soul
And if you think yourself the brighter I call you a fool
Die and find out if you challenge my claim
And die and find out if you believe you’re the higher

I am the two-toed wanderer

interesting....
I'm going to tell you what works for me...first, anyone who thinks they are better then another, is someone you should definately stay away from.  And maybe you just feel that way...in some cases...I believe we all have souls...but, we are all on different levels of paths that we need to be on...for personal growth...yes, what you say is correct, but the soul part, hun, only you can answer that, for who knows you, better then you?

Just a suggestion, why don't you open a thread on this subject...ask questions...cuz there are some mighty fine souls within PIP that perhaps could help you answer some question...????

And if this was just a poem, then forgive me...if you would....

I enjoy reading you....and your very deep thoughts...and do understand where you are presently with this...

Have a great day

i think you misread this as i am a poet, and should be read as such, i am not seeking an answer to this question, but mearly posing a counter view to the idea that we as humans are more than what we realy are. pleas spend more time thinking about the content of my writing as there is much more than you can see with a quick view and an assumption.i am a poet and should be read as such.

I am the two-toed wanderer
