In Way of Amour

Always cute
forever in love
Would it be, could He help
was there value in prayers to give

Just to want to hold her hand
to slip that ring on her finger
and beside her in faith stand

Could it be love, even if distant apart
waiting for that moment of escape
Hoping for a day of happening
when two souls would walk united

From those days of time
when age had no account
When she was there then
in this desire of her return

Eyes united, one to one
voices speaking in smiles to exchange
Ode to a miracle, if that was what it takes
or was there another consideration
This land, this heart, this soul
for whatsoever it gives in way of amour
