Reason’s restless seduction
a wondering mind
capable of more
than life’s childishly
questionable intentions.

Private interventions
who never bore
fantasies of you
held solutions of
subtle sedation.

But who’s hallucinations
entail shamefully
indiscriminate
memories living
without explanation.
