heard of the man in the middle? a permanent shadow on one half a face cut in two found himself on a bridge high up between the dark and the light where the forces would meet clash, then recoil sandwiched him as they met would each focus on an ear tell him of their need to be supreme the bridge had to crossed one way or the other and could not be cut in two not be left in enemy hands. The sandwiched man wanted liberty that would be light or dark in one ear and then the other cause the forces met on a bridge way way up over treacherous ravines where neither would ever succeed The man by now partly dark and light left for safety, carried the word of good and its contrary for people to scale bridge arches find themselves in the middle of arguements, good and bad between one river bank other defended shores over castle moats wherever people thought in color but saw in black and white. wow; I enjoyed this piece. I can't help feeling that some of it went over my head. But the thoughts and themes explored seemed very profound, and relevent to modern life. Good work! They aren't flaps; they're my face! |
