What is it I carry within my arms? Is it some unguided lame form of charms? Yet do I not charm the mind so well? And so too, to eyes I do torture sell So for this then I am so called tempting But the lady halts her loves attempting She sees me all save but my tender heart Which feels so much to rip the earth apart A love so vast as the endless deep hole Let us both jump into the human soul And be immersed in total seclusion And live the dive with no seen conclusion Loves not seen or heard from words but both To take the plunge takes such true lasting oath |
