(Just a "vent") Oh, good golly, good Molly, these times won't set me free instead impale true womanhood to the same old money tree with glee at my aversion to its rough and bumpy bark. It’s thought to be a suffering and a means to make me beg but in the scheme of life and things just a mountain to be climbed by my determination to one day live again. But there, over there, where the bluebird always sings the place for all I’ve come to be waits in agonizing silence for my overdue homecoming. It’s enough to sever nerve ends and snap each vertebrae that carries to the mind and heart love’s untainted energy but there’s always a tomorrow written into wishful thoughts … and there confined I read until once again asleep to my reality. Oh, good golly, good Molly, I hear but cannot see that sly and most elusive bluebird of happiness! Helen / 2 August 2006 |
