Tainted dreams haunting me
your eyes look back to accuse
Turning away was my mistake
I didn’t know what I could lose

The right thing, the smart thing
but dumb in so many ways
I let you go for good reason
But I’m the one who pays

Do you ever think of me now
Remember the way we kissed
I wonder if I’m the only one
Longing for what I’ve missed.
