now i know how a derelict feels looking up expectant into eyes that won’t look back you can tell by his expression he feels as if he knows them and he wants to know them but they don’t want to know him back a familiar face that strides by turned aside not to seem aware not to give any back and maybe be asked for more when i look at you now your carefully composed face your little draw back turn i turn away too look away too like i’m trying not to know but i know how he feels |

brother stone is sad because nobody answered his poem and he thought it was a good one. so he will answer himself. it makes me not want to write anymore. |

brother stone is right it is a good poem and the lack of replies somehow fits the mood and content but lack of replies, doesn't mean no one has read, as Pips has many readers who choose to remain anonymous, in the shadows keep that quill in your hand, please thanks for sharing |

And if you're homeless in Las Vegas, those who care are outlawed from helping! Go figure. Nicely done and a tough subject that makes many uncomfortable. But I've been there. If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, |

I also know how a derelict feels. But, thats mostly 'cuz I have often been a derelict. regardless... If this is an example of your talent... Please PLEASE ! Do not stop ! I was impressed with the thoughts behind this and the expression of them. |
