Love Guides Me

Lumpy Oatmeal makes me Crazy!

I drive in the dark and wonder where I am
where I am headed.
Will my map shows my destination?
Will it lead me to the haven I seek?
Lights of the refuge I crave shine before me.
As I reach out my arms,
they move away
dancing from my grasp.
I am overwhelmed with emotion and loss,
The journey lasts forever in my mind.
It is endless.
Doubts push to my conscious.
I will never know.
I will never attain what I seek
so frantically.
I will never even know when I find it.
I will never know.
Despair is welling within me and suddenly
the lights envelope me in loving warmth
Then I see.
I am what I am searching for.
And I know it matters not what I am.
It only matters who I am
For labels only serve to limit me.
Love guides me.
