I could not
turn the dark away
  so
I let it embrace me
becoming a coverlet
for all things
that don't seem to go right
  A brief peek
into the blinding light of truth
causes me to retreat
in return to the blackness
that has centered itself
as my mantra
  of comfort
when things don't work out
the way I would like them to do
  If onlys have a way
of taking my thoughts
for a long walk
  toward light
  Maybe
I'll get there yet~

It can be a long dark walk...but if there is a friend to hold a light for you...and you for them....

A poetic excursion for our Marge...well done, dear lady! Love and light and beauty are are more your colors than dark chasms and despair....but basic black becomes you too...or you, it.
