In my wallowing place muddied in sorrows, sin’s soil did gladly take on the shape of me. Faults too to blatant to be ignored were therefore justified. My internal mirror caked, cracked and loudly disputing reality let accountability hide behind deception but even more grim were those liabilities that lay buried deeply under the layers of my own perception. Reaching down with Redemption’s Grace You found me. Your love lifted me; my transgressions fell away like debris as if I were brand new again. They were forgotten. Gently You cradled me as one of your own children. Loved just as if I deserved to be. [This message has been edited by luminosity (07-28-2006 04:43 PM).] |
