Yours is the face that I look for
The sweet lips
Always ready with that crooked smile
The twinkling eyes I get lost in
The windows to your deepest soul

Yours is the body I reach for
The gentle hands, always comforting
In the brightest day or darkest night
Every line, every curve, every flaw
and inconsistency are
Blazing flames on my flesh

Yours is the memory I sigh for
Every image of us, every smile
Every tear, every frown, every laugh
Every kiss full of hope
Every embrace full of love
Every wish, every fantasy, every desire
Dancing through my dreams

Yours is the heart I weep for
Every twinge of pain caused by
Every unhappy moment
Every lost love
Every dying dream

Yours is the love I long for
Every second of every minute
Since the first glimpse of you
Every day of every week
Until the last glimpse of anything
Every month of every year
Until my eyes close on life
Every decade into infinity
I am only, always
