This poem i wrote for my best friends birthday, it was great to see her smile again after such a long hard year.

Another year may make you older,
Another tear you cry makes you seem less bolder

The love you bring to us all,
Lights the lives of those so small
You make us laugh,
You make us smile,
We never doubt you, not for a while

When your sad and feeling blue, think of us
Because we will always love you

Your heart brings warmth to those around you.
Your humour makes us laugh.
When ever you are near us it brings light into our hearts.

We promise we will be there if ever you need help.
Because to us you’re someone special,
An angel left on earth
