A Hand Of Friendship

I promise you, my friend
I will always be there
To comfort you in time of sorrow
Showing how much I care

Whenever you need someone
To help you stand
When you are feeling lonely
Reach out and take my hand

Together you and I
Will walk those lonely roads
We can conquer anything
No matter how heavy the load

Just reach out and take my hand
As we take this journey
We will make it through
Just, one step at a time

2006

Thank you so much for your very kind reply. When I wrote this, it wasn't for for anyone in particular. It is an offer to anyone.

Sue, you know I will always treasure our friendship!
~Hugs to you sweet lady~

For it was not into my ear you whispered
But into my heart..
It was not my lips you kissed
But my soul.

This is very nice.
