Lumpy Oatmeal makes me Crazy!

i flew over an alluvial fan as it drifted into the braided stream below
mountains molded by glacial scouring and resistance.
how many millions of years ago, i wonder, were the sheets of ice formed?
snow-filled cirques cradle the secrets under the pristine frozen blanket

...

and i wonder

...

if i fell into the glacier's path
would you hear my cry
or would it be swallowed
by the slow progression forward?

...

drifting through gossamer veils of pink sky toward the sun
i am covered by the alpine glow and i feel tranquility
as i move closer to my home.

i am going home.

You get such a different perspective from above....a good time for seeing and thoughts, as in this poem.  Much enjoyed!
