La Vida Loca! The Licence of Occupation Is worth no more or less An official piece of paper That can make your life a mess For eight months we dreamed We’d have it in our hands But the Spanish legal system Had completely different plans Without that little paper We all came to the brink Of insanity and madness As we washed out of our sink No electricity or water We connected tubes ourselves In order to survive This cold inhuman hell No-one seems to care Of the injustice of it all Buying a house is easy Living is where you fall The nightmares start to happen Once we’re all awake And fill up endless buckets In the street outside our gate We pray that someone somewhere With compassion and some fight Will look upon our family And grant us what is right |
