A woman’s thoughts tugging inside between mundane & awe-inspiring passion of moral fiber claims an indisputable skylight springing into morning... like some alluring white dove gliding it’s sea foam along my flesh feel of wind moving through my soul it’s water dragging me from the clutches of my alarm to presumptuous, for care of time having only one reason to work like the fragrance of freshly sanded wood simmering in the air and it does work... this big round face of paradise every room of guava swell becomes an informal hum pulsating life of the opus of morning I become fixated catching silver strands in my spirit heart inside this cooking air with breakfast generous I can see the future smiling... while I blush I reach out, and take this touch for my very own thick curls circulating lifting me wrapping me in the smell of today like hands impatiently pulling me into the fragrance of all things like a freshly painted mural in tantalizing shades of memory bravery perks over a fresh chicory fanaticism whispering eyes of pollen allowing me to taste color I am tender to this flower skin and to the swoop of mystery gathering a woven sweet grass basket urging...reigniting I search for nothing want for no thing this Tues. morn cobbler smuggles me deep into a lost horizon the one I thought abandoned me a million years ago which is now overly bright with aptitude I am alive with a privet book of summer fourteen years old and somehow somehow I know in the deepest part of my soul the affection of this purpose I had caused this unnatural sound and how it is almost not quite...faraway coming from a place powerfully inside poignant desire for reawakening artistic passion with wide eyes open mouth new behaviors burrowing into the carriage of the next moment like darkness pulling the moon high in the sky I can hear the footsteps of shadows evocative affirming blazing-like the face of God writing large cursives all over my soul I am in the Happy Birthday of this over ripe moment which falls across the entire world does anyone else see, feel and know? ohhh Lord ignite this passion within the lives of all human beings impassion, impregnate this symbolic painting enriching birth snuggling up close to mankind whisper the wind of this message into their souls be the know of who they are [This message has been edited by LeeJ (07-18-2006 12:20 PM).] |

Oh LeeJ, I think this is the best I've ever read from your pen, indeed, one that speaks to me more than any others I've read at this site. I shall print this one out, and keep it nearby to read again and again. Thank you, for sharing your incredible soul, your eyes and heartbeat. You just made my whole week glow with a new beginning POV. Yes, there is hope for us after all. ~sighing~ |

And it is libraried. And lighted. Ohhhh Lord... wonderful! " It matters not this distance now " Excerpt, Yesterday's Love |

LeeJ; frivolous and deep! A perfect combination. To me, this speaks a timeless wisdom in a 'coming of age' voice-that transition between girl and woman. You've managed to keep a virginal awe in the detail, while embracing an elemental knowlege of the whole. Your style is fantastically 'now' without being pretentious, yet your content is full of experience. I'm very impressed. Thanks for the read. I bet you're a great cook! |

A very descriptive write, very nice. I love deep descriptions in poetry. Cheers - Ed I'm not smart, I'm just a tricky dumb person. |
