First Comes The Darkness By Paul Wilson Darkness covers my mind as I lie here in silence wide awake Where will this journey take me tonight…my life may be at stake Will I float amongst the clouds with old friends that have gone away Perhaps I’ll be a child of ten playing those games boys play Tonight Satan might lure me into his den of if I am weak When darkness overtakes me I am alone and meek I see the shroud of darkness slipping thru crack of door In the mirror of reflection my eyes can’t stay open anymore I fight with all my might but sleep overtakes me This journey of doubt is filled with regret and glee One motions to me with open arms and a loving smile Another seduces me with promises like when I was a child I fight the darkness and try to speak but only mumble incoherently Why I ask the keeper of dreams is this happening to me Be forewarned he says on this journey you are about to take You may see and feel some things that may make your heart break ~~To share my poems with you is to share my heart with you~~ Paul |

Paul~ 'Why I ask the keeper of dreams is this happening to me' There is a Cave of the Good Dreams just beyond the eyelid 'rem' It will take you to a land of plenty where the 'keeper of dreams' awaits with the pleasure of knowing to you He will be showing a kaleidoscopic smile of wile as it plays across your night into your day~ *Huglets* ~*Marge*~ ~*The sound of a kiss is not as strong as that of a cannon, but it's echo endures much longer*~ |

Dixie & Marge...Just some crazy thoughts from some dreams i've been having lately. Some happy some sad but neither with any meaning that I can understand...Paul ~~To share my poems with you is to share my heart with you~~ |
