Commodore Celandine’s Caelestus Cruiseliner
(Part of: “Emmanuel Endorphin’s Serotonin Sundae”)
By: Noah Eaton
6/18/05

(Arrrrrrrr, me hearties,
rise and shine, lil’ hunky-dory mornin’ glories,
arrrr, yeh're going on the account now,
so I’ll pass the word onto yeh, matey!
Make colors with every skipped heartbeat,
make the course good, me mate,
Yo-ho-ho matey, let’s throw seven sheets to the wind,
SPLICE THE MAINBRACE!

Logbook: Weh’re high, wide and handsome this day,
our sea legs are striding on an even keel,
weh’ve jettisoned all of Mother Carey’s chickens from our heart’s cages,
stemming the tide of an ocean jocose and teal,
aye, love took me by surprise when me was young,
it’s a mysterious force that made me lilly-livered,
the more you put it in your heart, the more incredible the feeling,
made me fall, get a strawberry, and shout “Shiver me timbers!”

Yo-ho-ho, I’m Commodore Celandine, absorbent and jolly is me,
the fine skipper of this Caelestus ship!
Me see wunderkinds of all who embrace the daylight,
and let their ripe laughter go adrift!
Me love an imprompt parade anyday on me Kooky Comingway,
me sleep away in me dreamweaving cubby cabin,
let your imagination set sail and weh’ll make like a gale,
to me snazzy lounge under the sea, The Amethyst Starfish!

Me hang no jibs, me no sea lawyer,
And it’s no fun to me to hornswaggle,
Me just strut along the deck like a Messdeck lawyer,
When me smell that salty air that leaves my lungs bedazzled!
Aye, me even walk the plank just so I can bend over,
With my arms wide so me get the perfect view!
Arrrr, friendship can make a piece of cake of the roaring forties,
Now off to the crows nest I go, whew!

Yo-ho-ho, I’m Commodore Celandine, absorbent and jolly is me,
the fine skipper of this Caelestus ship!
I see wunderkinds of all who embrace the daylight,
and let their ripe laughter go adrift!
I love an imprompt parade anyday on me Kooky Comingway,
I sleep away in me dreamweaving cubby cabin,
let your imagination set sail and weh’ll make like a gale,
to me snazzy lounge under the sea, The Amethyst Starfish!

(Arrrrrr, may I shove in your oar just a second here,
lay that kaleidoscope anchor, me matey,
now go boxing my Abalone Compass,
1, 2, 3, hold your breath, we’re headin’ under the sea at breakneck speed!)

(Yarrrrrrr har har, har har,
ye sea’s my treasure chest, me chumbucket,
avast, Davy Jones, yeh wanna tag along,
full speed ahead for the Amethyst Starfish, yarrr!)

(Yarrrr har har, you’re on account now,
yeh lil’ sea robin,
yo-ho-ho!)
