.

.

Peeking from her room,
parting thin white cloud-curtains,
Lady Moon smiling.

Even the moon lies ~
on her back, rolling over
to stare into space

The moon, an artist
paints a white path on the sea ~
for three curved dolphins.

Deep blue indigo ~
the moon moulds the ocean's moods,
determines its pulse.

Oh but yes it does, doesn't it?  So many
things that shining orb gives us.  and
so many words that have been written of
it as well...You have practiced many hours
to become as adept as you are...

I love that the moon lies on her back to stare into space.  What an image -- if the moon daydreams?  Thank you for making me smile and imagine ...

And what a "spooning" moon this full one is.  Well written!!

Through rubble and trouble and dark of night
The yawn of a dawn will hasten the light

Given a certain friendship with a lass in British Columbia, you will always get my attention with a moon poem

and my heart was sure moved to the pulse of this one

I coulda sworn I commented on this one already, but apparently my mind went out for donuts to go with the quart of milk that my muse went out for.

This is absolutely lovely, the vision of the moon lying on her back, stargazing .. mmm perfect!
